Laughing Matters
My wife Stephanie was a school psychologist for twelve years at the “sweathog” school from Welcome Back Kotter in Brooklyn. When our first child was born, she left the security of the New York City Board of Ed to become a full-time mom and stand-up comic.
But she still had a strong desire to help those in need. She felt guilty for not doing enough. Suddenly last Christmas, Stephanie was handed a note from an audience member in San Francisco.
